LDS microfilm. Family history by a descendant of Uncle Dave Hall,
which listed, in 1943, his grandparents as James Hall and Sarah Johnson.
The 1880 Letcher county census lists a Sara Hall at Clarinda Kiser's
house as the mother in law and age 60. All other census lists Sarah
Johnson to be at least 73 were she alive in 1880. Another source suggests
that James married a second time. This may have occurred in the 1870s.
This Sarah, could not have been Elick's mother as she would have been only
5 years old at this birth. The other possibility is that the age in 1880
was just wrong.,
