notes: (from Charles Rice): Sarah lived in Floyd Co, Ky in 1820 and 1830. It is not 
			presently known how many children were born to this family. One child has 
			been definitely established through the Breathitt Co, Ky vital statistics. 
			The entry reads : William Allen age 71, d. Feb. 8, 1854; married; farmer; 
			parents: Samuel and Sarah Allen; Birthplace: Patrick Co, VA; found dead in woods. 
Another child is established through the marriage records. Elizabeth Allen m. 19 Jun 1810 Samuel Patton in Floyd Co, Ky. Samuel Allen as a bondsman for the marriage license of Elizabeth Allen and Samuel Patton, dated 6 April 1810. When the marriage took place on 12 Apr 1810 Sarah Allen is given as mother. It is presumed that Samuel Allen died in the interval between giving bond for the marriage and the actual marriage.

He owned tracts on Middle Creek and Brushy Fork. 1850, was not listed in 1850 census so he probably died before the census.
